Is there a 10 run rule in Legion baseball? ›

All State, Regional and World Series games are seven (7) innings. 10-Run mercy rule after five innings of play or 4 ½ innings if the home team has the lead. 6. All games shall be played in accordance with National Rule 1 of the American Legion Baseball Rulebook.

I work maybe a half dozen of their games annually. Last night, we discussed my local market's Legion mods to pro rules at the plate meeting. They use the NCAA FPSR, old pro mound visits, no new inning after 2.5 hours and a 10 after 5 mercy rule.
